Camp Out...Sort of

posted by aschultz on March 6, 2010, 9:16am
Things have been a little crowded at The Cycling House this week so I've moved, albeit not very far.  Just 100 yards away or so and setup camp in the Speedwagon.  It isn't glamorous, but it is amazing how comfortable an air-mattress and a sleeping bag can be especially when it means you aren't sharing a room with four others and can go to bed and wake up when you want.

It is amazing how cold the desert can get at night though.  My $8 Wal-Mart sleeping bag hasn't been cutting it so I've resorted to bringing a couple of blankets out with me and layering them on me as it cools off through the night.  Ahh, the glamorous life.

Welcome to my life!

Except that I'm not parking in some random parking lot and staying up until 3am editing interviews and race footage.
